Overview

In September 1984, Mok Chiu-yu, Peter Kwok Tat-nin, and Fung Man-yi traveled to Venice to attend a seminar hosted by an anarchist organization. The seminar's theme compared the reality of 1984 with the totalitarian world portrayed in George Orwell's novel 1984, alongside a festival, a mini film festival, and an anarchist art exhibition. Along the way, they used a 16mm camera to capture Mok and Fung's perspective of the Venice Anarchist Festival, as well as Kwok's personal journey. When Kwok returned to Hong Kong in 1985, Herman Yau, Ng Hon-lam, and Li Lok joined to shoot the Hong Kong portion. This segment documented Kwok's involvement in social movements and the "Dong Fang Hong Concert" community tour after his return. The film premiered at Ko Shan Theatre in January 1987.
