"Things are what they are and will remain so even after the blind die... Whether they have seen heaven or no"

Overview

A family exposes their memories, fears and atypical behaviors in a decadent world. Thirty years ago, the sun began to weaken, leaving plants and algae unable to perform photosynthesis, so scientists developed genetically modified plants in laboratories. Over time, these new plants began producing toxins that contaminated the air and water, consequently, the survival of children became increasingly rare.
