Overview

Beginning of the 1990's, Scaerbeek, 6:45am. Woken up by noises coming from the corridor, I hurried out of my childhood bedroom. I see her as she put her coat on. But where does she go so early during these cold winter mornings. When I was a child, I remember watching her before she left for work. Gaudence Nyabenda, my mother, was a nurse in a care home and she woke up at dawn her whole life. Still today, I wonder : where did she used to go? December 2023, I decided to follow her with a camera for her last days of work to answer to the question I kept wondering as a child.
